A BRIDGE FOR SOLIDARITY
Yesterday Robert and I were at Volandia for our turn as volunteers, and in the afternoon we had a guided tour very special. They were told we were a group of 26 people but we did not know anything about them, but we were very curious.
At 15 came these beautiful children / kids of an orphanage in Ukraine together with other Italian children and families who are home.
Roberto and I are very happy when their children visit us because they listen to you, and make you a thousand questions, the group of boys was very cute and since the beginning of the visit they were very interested. Their interpreter Katia was very good at to understand the technical language of the aircraft.
I saw children educated, affectionate, wake up, but then I thought how it will feel, that they are so small to live in an orphanage, and I thought, and saddened me but then I looked up and one of them smiled and then I passed all the negative thoughts .
In two hours I visit I learned, much to their observed and I understood many “things”, and I also thought I would do something for them, and I thought to “a bridge for solidarity” they do more …
I met Andrew, and his wife and Giuliana, great people! and all the people working with them they do a wonderful job … their goal is the design and implementation of activities that serve to provide concrete help to these children contributing to their healthy and balanced growth.
They were born a few years ago at the Parish of St. Vincent of Cormano (MI) Today is a real association consists of individual persons or families, who place their children’s quality available to guests of some Ukrainian orphanages, following common design lines .
